(MENAFN-IANS) Los Angeles, June 29 (IANS) Pop star Miley Cyrus was impressed by a choir group of older members who sang her hit ‘Used To Be Young’.

The 31-year-old singer commented on a recent clip posted to TikTok by Pop Choir Australia. The clip featured a large group of people, dressed in casual clothes, harmonizing to the song. Several singers appeared to be elderly, and some used wheelchairs.

“You are all STILL beautiful! This video lit up my heart. A moment like this is why I wrote U2BY!” Cyrus wrote in the comments.

“Physical youth comes and goes, but the soul can stay young forever!! I love you all! Thank you for making my day.”

According to the website, the choir is described as: “Pop Choir is the choir reinvented and is for everyone who loves to sing!”

“A tired and overworked professional or a stressed parent, someone who likes to belt out their favorite tune in the car or in the shower, or the next Guy Sebastian. Pop Choir makes singing fun for everyone and surprisingly cool!”

The choirs often perform at local community events, after instructors teach them how to harmonize pop hits.

Miley has been called the ‘Teen Queen’ of the 2000s. She was labeled a teen idol at the age of 13 as the lead character in the series ‘Hannah Montana’. Her solo career began with the US number one pop rock album ‘Meet Miley Cyrus’ in 2007 and continued in 2008 with ‘Breakout’.

She subsequently released albums such as ‘Can’t Be Tamed’, ‘Bangerz’, ‘Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz’, ‘Younger Now’, ‘Plastic Hearts’ and ‘Endless Summer Vacation’, of which the single ‘Flowers’ topped the international charts and won two Grammy Awards.
