Here’s where to see fireworks on the 4th of July in Chester County

There are a number of places in Chester County where you can set off fireworks on the 4th of July.

Looking to enjoy some beautiful and loud fireworks this Fourth of July? There are a few places in Chester County where you can spend a night under the stars, writes Hira Qureshi for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

There are numerous places to go in the region, whether you want to stay in your own area or head to Philadelphia to see these spectacular fireworks.

East Goshen Township Community Day: The fireworks will take place at East Goshen Township Park after sunset on June 29th. This is the perfect place for families whose little ones will love the bounce houses, face painting, petting zoos and more. Plus, there will be music and food trucks to enhance the experience.

Good Neighbor Day: This day takes place on the 4th of July and is filled with activities such as running/walking events for children and adults, a carnival in Kerr Park, and of course fireworks! The fireworks go off at 9pm and can be seen all over Downingtown.

Independence Day Fireworks: Hosted by Parkesburg VFW, more fireworks will take place at Minch Park in Parkesburg on June 29. The park opens at 4 p.m. and there will be burgers, hot dogs, chips, pizza, and a beer garden for the adults.

Tredyffrin Township Celebration: Wilson Farm Park in Chesterbrook is gearing up for its own 4th of July. Bring some chairs and a blanket to enjoy live music from Just For Fun DJ Joe Griffith before the fireworks go off at 7 p.m. The park will be closed all day until 5 p.m. for setup.
